Right there with ya. 5 manual cars here. I stall one of them (random) 2-3 times a year, generally reversing, because carbs vs EFI, modern vs old, not paying attention etc... No biggie. I still consider myself god's gift to clutches (150K miles on an SC clutch including track days)
Some modern porsches do have a funny clutch/gas combo indeed. I remember the base boxster was awesome, but the Cayman S gas pedal always made it hard for me to pull out cleanly without giving it more revs than I'm used to! No sweet spot like the SC. So maybe the boxster S is the same, dunno.
Sticks are getting so rare they're an anti theft device now, we should all "stick" together..
