Scheduling error/conflict with the drag strip. Riggle wasn't real happy with the circumstances but didn't want to disappoint Leno. You can almost see it in his face when it all comes to a stop. You can bet one of Leno's producers is updating his/her resume as we speak.
On a side note: That car is NOT the original "Hurst Hemi Under Glass" as campaigned back in the day, it's a copy of the original which is still owned by (Wild) Bill Shrewsberry .
