You want support stockings if you are on your feet all day. You will be shocked how much better your feet and legs feel. The amount of compression is measured in mm Hg; get at least 15-20 mm ones to start, probably will like the 30 mm ones better. There are a few measurements you will need to get them to fit properly. Jobst or Juzo.
Dr Scholls insoles are pretty much crap. Superfeet, Spenco, Sof. Work on stretching out your calf muscles too.
