I don't know from personal experience, but reading tech support forums led me to believe that usb-scsi adapters don't work well, plus they are hard to find and slightly spendy given the odds of success. And I'll never use the adapter again. I'd rather pay someone than buy something that I'll then discard or have to deal with reselling. Would especially rather pay a Pelican.
