I love it on alloy wheels that are either going to see extreme wether, or
ones that already have seen that weather and need refinishing.
On my 10 year old truck I just washed the now crappy wheels, and hosed on some dip.
No prep. No fixing the peeling finish, just hosed it on.
It wasn't until two years later when the surface underneath bubbled up a bit from the existing corrosion that I touched up a few spots the same way.
