This is a desperate situation, I cannot possibly see how it can ever be rectified. A large factor in the problem is the American media seem to manage a continual campaign of fear, panic and hysteria.
The chap Mark Hughes who has featured heavily in the news, made a massive error of judgement turning up to the protest with the gun and what appears to be a camouflage style tshirt.
