I have a vet buddy who's practice is mobile as he can not afford to set up a full operation here in the bay area. his most called upon service pretty much is dedicated to home euthanasia of pets. he is in high demand as his client's and their animals can share the final send off in familiar surroundings while grieving in private at home. I hate the recall of putting down my old yeller dartis at a vet's place. laying on that unfamiliar, cold floor under florescent lights as he expired haunts me to this day. ive had two cats & a dog put down on my kitchen floor with in home euthanasia, it works. you still cry, but in familiar surroundings.
