Back in NY I went three times a year.

Had a great dentist. Used to ride my ass to the point that after a couple of last minute cancellations due to my schedule he started making appointments directly through my admin.

He would call her and have her put him on my schedule. They basically cut me out of the loop.

I'm one of those high maintenance patients that needs that kind of attention.

Moved down here and started using the place my wife and kids found.

It's a cool facility but it was too "assembly line" for me.

They can see like 30 or more people at a time.

Every time you go in there you get someone different.

That did not work for me and I slacked off to once a year at best.

Got fed up as I knew I was not taking care of myself the way I needed so finally did what I should have done.

Interviewed a bunch of local dentists and found a guy right around the corner.

He understands I'm high maintenance and was OK with it.

Been in a few times to "catch up" on lost time and so far I've dealt with the same tech.

She's been "assigned to me". We get along, she listens to me, understands my quirks and I'm about as happy about going to the dentist as one can be.

The trifecta is two buildings to the left is my Vet and one building to the left is my GP.

Very convenient.
