In 47 years, I have never had a cavity. And then I found myself without a dentist. And then for whatever reason, stopped getting my bi-annual checkups/cleanings; something I have always been religious about. And then yesterday, I found myself getting my first root canal!!! 3 hours in the chair while they chased down four roots in a molar. Better than I thought it was gonna be, but I am sore and achey today. I think I will add some tequila to my saltwater rinse!
