I worked with tubing like that in a different application. Those fins are sharp! I have the scars on my knuckles to prove it.
The issue you may run into is that the diameter of the finned tubes will be a lot bigger than the current tubes. They probably won't tuck up under the rocker well or use the existing brackets. Seems like it would be a lot easier and cheaper to just use one of the many oil coolers on the market that are proven effective, but if you do it please share the result.
