Installed a new dishwasher....
Did a little trick someone might find useful.
It seems the new dishwashers insulation pad now seems to resemble a giant cotton ball. Does great for reducing the sound levels however, likes to snag on every single micro splinter under the cabinet. If your cabinet is like mine, rough sawn plywood, a complete nightmare when test fitting the appliance.

Note the fuzz left from simple test fits that did nothing but snag and pull the insulation cover off and ball it up into a roll of insulation.
Here is the FIX:
Found a plastic 1/8" cell board at Home Depot.
Cut and fit into the opening.
Cut and fit both sides and top. Secured with a thin flat screw with washer and then topped those with small pieces of duct tape. Sealed all corners and leading edges with tape and here is what I had.
DW slid in nicely and the insulation stayed in place instead of rolling up like a sock.
Eazypeazy in like Flinn.
Cheers
8/2/16 update:
Although not related to home improvement, I did discover that REI has a 12' folding kayak made out of a solid one piece of the same or similar plastic material. It folds down to the size of a large accordion briefcase. Just better bone up one your origami..
