Sorry, for some reason I thought your car was a C4. I think it is still 'fairly' priced, but I suspect a sale price of $16,000 may be where you end up with the ailments you list. A transmission rattle will scare off a lot of buyers.

During my ownership, it has had any major maintenance done by Exclusive Motorwerks in Denver NC. They installed a new Sachs clutch at 94957. They also determined that the IMS bearing is the Porsche "late single-row bearing with cover plate 99602401". Exclusive installed a new throw-out bearing at this time (while you're in there...). They also installed a new oil-filler neck and an air-oil separator. Most recently, they installed new O2 sensors around March of this year.

Does that statement mean it does need to have the IMS changed?
