We have an HUGE annual boat show (Long Beach, CA.). My older brother LOVED boats, he worked as a deckhand on a dive boat, he owned a few small boats (19' Searay then a 25' Bayliner flybridge) so I grew up to love boats too.
So every year we would go to the boat show... unfortunately neither of us would ever have the several $100K required to buy one of those beauties so we stopped going... my brother called it "mental masturbation".
Having said that I still like going to car shows to see historical stuff... we have a local VW show (that never seems to get advertised so I usually miss it

) and a woody show that is fun to see.
