Richard, they do it for the ad blockers, why not spam?
I have yet to break a motor mount, but then again I have an adjustable mid plate at the connection of the bellhousing to the back of the block and an adjustable rod with heim joints on the front of the motor. Prior to those I used to twist the transmission mount pretty severely. Now, nothing moves and it sure makes a difference in the seat of the pants in how much better the throttle response is.
For your mounts people used to drill a hole and put a bolt loosely through them but Mopar also makes a clip to keep the two sides from separating. Unless you had a Hemi, that is a little different.
