Not familiar with them per se but I wonder why it matters - dollar is a dollar... Who cares where it comes from. If the buyer borrows the money from whomever if say just hold the car until funds clear and then there's no risk. I suppose if you're really paranoid you transfer the funds to another bank immediately upon the check clearing, then release the car.
