Absolutely correct. I never saw that half of the headstud it was broken before I owned the car, and must've been removed by one of the previous owners. I do have the other half on my desk as a reminder that the weakest link brings down the mighty 930. ARP studs should solve the issue. I just read the instructions for the ARP studs; "Hand tighten only." That surprised me.
