I had Michelin LTX M/S (mud & snow), load range E on my F350. I wasn't quite satisfied with the grip off road, so the next tires had a more aggressive tread (not Michelins). I was disappointed the more aggressive tread didn't have any better traction either. The one big difference was fuel mileage. With the Michelins, my fuel mileage ranged from 18.4 to 19.2 on the freeway at 2K rpm's & 70 mph. With the more aggressive tread, that came down to 17.2.
