Not wanting to go OT on an oil discussion ( believe me, it has been beaten to death ) but while I am breaking in my Cams, I am using conventional DELO 400 SAE15W40 (apparently diesel engine oil ) with what I thought was a restrictive ( catches smaller microns of debris vs our beloved Mahle or even Porsche Brand ) Wix ( Napa Gold ) filter. I was expecting and prepared for higher temps but she seems to be cooler running in this summer heat and quieter as a bonus, did not expect that at all. No shavings on second oil dump cycle and still on 150 miles of my 1000 mile break in final cycle.
Just saying, I may keep Delo in for the summer to keep her cool running.
