not really the parts for these 250 sized racing quads are all cheap Chinese made items. You break alot of propellers.
The blade nano QX2 which was the feature of that article is very cheap to crash since it is too small to break anything on impact really. I ran into a light pole over concrete yesterday and only lost a 99cent propeller.
The cameras and trnsmitters are resiliant if mounted correctly.
Ive done RC stuff forever, over 70% or my life. My favorite rc things are traditional helicopters. I had the very first rc quad on the market in the 90s. I have always thought quads were pretty boring until FPV came out. Even without racing FPV is alot of funn, you really do feel like a bird! You need somebody to spot you while flying though.
