Thanks uwon! Great to be back at it after the hiatus.
Paul it's a big project to tackle. So many details and frankly there are great engine builders that don't agree on everything so who do we follow. TurboKraft is a loctite 574 shop and Hebery at supertec recommends a Threebond sealer. My machine shop was very against loctite on the bearing saddles Henry is for it and from what I've seen TurboKraft does it as well. Just tonight I learned I put my through bolts on backwards. I did it according to Wayne's book, but another engine builder pointed out that the acorn nuts should go on the 1,2,3 side of the engine. I don't think it makes one lick of difference but I did check and the workshop manuals do put the acorn nuts on the 1,2,3, side in MOST of the photos. Though I did see diagrams with them on the 4,5,6 side.
What's helped me a lot is I've made a checklist for everything that has to get done. it slows me down and makes me check everything at least twice.
Officially back to being a six cylinder though.
