Looking for a Pelican in the Louisville area to buy my Jetta. Here's the story: I bought the car when it was a year old as a company car for an employee. 2 years ago I gave it to my daughter who now lives in KY. It has been a highly reliable car and now has around 360,000 miles. About a month ago a noise developed in the front end that was traced to a wheel bearing by a mechanic. But due to the age/miles on the car, he (rightly so) couldn't give a definite price for repair because of other potentially worn parts once he got in there. Since I'm 3 states away and can't make repairs to it myself, I've decided it's time for the Jetta to find a new owner. Other than this front-end noise issue, it runs great. She frequently drives it between KY and MI. So for someone who can do their own work, this would be a solid car at way under value that gets 40MPG. TDI with auto trans (shifts great, never had any problems). I want to get $1000 out of it to move it quickly. She has no parking for it except the street. Please send me a PM if you are interested.
