A friend of mine had his own independent MBZ shop and did a good deal of bracket racing. He had a GN and then a GNX. He said the engines had Indy car blocks. He also had a GMC Syclone which he modified heavily. Hold the brake, rev up the motor and release. It felt like being catapulted off an aircraft carrier.
