I can understand your being bummed out . I drove my 1958 TR3A back in the 1960's and I have not touched one since. I remember the rust in the rocker panels, the leaky gas tank(I did not smoke in it - I thought the initial gas smell was normal for that year!) . What did I know for an early 20's young man. Don't all British cars stink of something?
Well yours looked like it needed a ton of work but I understand your being sentimental about it or in your words bummed out....
