No experience with the Tundra. I had a 2000 Tacoma 4x2 xtra cab for years and it was a very reliable rig. I now have a 2014 Sierra 4x4 crew cab and its the nicest truck I've ever had the pleasure of owning or using. I've averaged over 18mpg over the 50k miles I've driven it - 5.3 liter direct injected small block V8. Does a good job towing my open car hauler and race cars when needed. It's the quietest, best riding vehicle I have, and had been dependable. When I'm ready for a new truck, I'll probably get another GMC.
