Dude, as a fellow cyclist and recent AC-less (84) 911 owner, this thread has me giddy with inspiration and general stoke on this car and community. I'm also fixing to take mine on an (even longer) road trip than yours after completing some 2000 incident-free miles last week (minus replacing fully-disintegrated tranny bushings in rural Colorado after Pelican overnighted me the Wevo coupler + new bushings) through the hottest states. These cars are tough as nails. I know you've been driving it in AZ.. keep on keepin' on.
