So a couple of notes:

Your car does not have the factory Aerokit, those are 996 mk1 Aerokit side skirts and rear tail (folded taco) with a factory front bumper. Running your VIN shows options of "flared rocker panels" and "Carrera rear spoiler" which is interesting. So maybe they offered the mk1 side skirts and tail as individual options on the mk2 cars? Starting 8/01 the factory Aerokit had the sharper slashed looking side skirts, front bumper with a splitter look lower, and the pedestal rear wing, basically it looks like a GT3.

You seem to have removed the reference to the transmission issue, is that fixed?
