It's your bike, you can do whatever you want to it.
But,
Keep this in mind... The candy cane paint was a $590 option when the bike was new. There's also probably less than 400 total R1200S bikes in the US today. Stock paint is good, and the panels are rare. Someone may want them...
Why did you not wait for a black or silver or yellow one to come up for sale?
