Well okay, that'll never happen, but maybe you can help out my little corner of the world.
So, a woodworking tool maker in Portland made a set of real nice 6" combination squares with some "V" grooves in them and challenged customers to infill the grooves with a wood or some other item and he would post them and people could vote on which one they thought "most beautiful and most original."
So, I made one that I think is a solid effort and I'm proud of. Right off the bat, the usual bunch of guys who follow the blog vote and it is all over the place like one would expect, but now when I've checked the voting, a whole bunch of people have voted for one particular square in both categories! Seems suspicious and I figure the person who made that square is basically stuffing the ballot box.
Ethically I think it is wrong, so if you guys wouldn't mind, would you please check out the squares and vote? I'm not saying which one I made, I only want to win fairly and I think if a bunch more people vote, it should even out the tally. It is a Wordpress blog, so maybe you already have sign in capibilities and won't have to get an account.
Thanks so much in advance, I hate this sort of behavior, the contest is for the quality of work, not how many people you can get to vote for you!
