74s is a great car, and this one is an interesting and rare color -- which generally brings a 10%+ perfect value bump.
I think $34k is a great price for that car, and I doubt there is much chance of you losing money on it, provided you care for it (keep it as original as possible, and don't let it rust).
i guarantee you will do better financially than on any new car you would buy for that money. The 74 cars probably have a price premium over most impact bumper years due to the fact they were the last smog-exempt 911 in California (and yours is the higher performance variant.)
Looks like an awesome car. Hope your seller doesn't get cold feet.
