You guys might've noticed, the pic I posted of my broken stud was an upper, not a lower. I imagine my motor was rebuilt a while back and they could have very well used divalar studs up top as well. But has anyone experienced broken steel upper studs? After I get the motor pulled all report back if the offending studs were steel or not.

Me personally, I'm leaning towards the ARP stud kit for $569. I had great luck with another motor and their fasteners and feel confident that they know how to keep a 200hp engine together.
