Bob, the "all thread" comment is referring to the dilivar studs on the 993TT (and maybe some other engines of that era) that literally look like a length of hardware store "all thread" (butt are coated in a black epoxy, or something similar). Those are stupidly expensive.
The oem steel studs only have threaded sections on each end - those are very inexpensive.
