I bought a single stage Honda snowblower. If I did it again I would get a two stage that is self propelled. When my driveway is slick, even a slight grade, it's difficult to get the single stage snowblower up it. My solution was to buy crampons (spikes) that attach over my boots so I can push it up hill. Downside to two stage is it's footprint for storage, my single stage with the handle folded takes up very little room.
