Opening the exhaust and intake without doing anything else will make the engine more lean. Which sounds like what you described.
Curious to see what the Booster Plug will do.
Just checked with Rexxer and for $300 they will flash a custom map on your ECU (you have to send it to them and I'm sure pay shipping both ways) that should add fuel on a more as needed basis than the across the board +6% the BP is said to do.
