I bought german vinyl from world upholstery and the guy that did my interior tells me that the quality of the material was way better than the vinyl the he uses which I guess is the domestic or imported from China, so yes there is a big difference on the german material. I have used the marine grade for patio furniture and boats, but I think that the grain texture is not correct for the interior of a 911, but if that does not bother you, it is also good lasting material.
