The have bumped a lot, not a little. The same car that would go for $30k two or three years ago will cost $45k or more now.
In fact even aspirated 996s have been climbing in price a lot. They used to be cars many people wouldn't want to be caught dead in, now some have traded on BAT with a 3 handle.
They might have made many 996TTs (although manual coupes, not so many maybe), but they suffered significant attrition. Many cars were driven in anger and put away wet as soon as a big ticket maintenance became due. Many more have been defaced with cheesy tacky mods or turned into track cars. Clean, unmolested manual coupes are not that ubiquitous really. Special colors (like that ultra-mileage red one with the tan interior that Mulsanne sold a while back, I still remember it it was so gorgeous) are the ones that bring in the real money. Silver on black, it needs to ahve something really special in order to trade rich.
