Start with the latch part, this is the part that attaches to the cable. That has to work properly or you will chase your tail. There is a little hole to the left, you can slide in a small Allen wrench. When you are adjusting that piece make sure the spring is unscrewed so its easier to pop open. Once you figure out how that works, then move to the spring which slides left or right. Last but not least, start screwing in the spring and drive it, if it has to much tension it will pop over bumps. This can take a while and is nerve racking, kind of like adjusting the shift coupler. Don't forget the rubber stops, these adjust as well.
