I guess I didn't realize how low they had gotten. I thought an unmodified, clean 996TT bottomed out in the high-$30s/low-$40s a few years ago and were maybe $5-10 higher now.
Maybe 20 years from now they'll be looked back at fondly as the charming and eccentric beginning of the water-cooled modern 911s, and the rawest of the bunch, and get an even nicer premium.
