it worked as well as much of the previous postings helped as well . wow, patience is needed especially after a $20,000 respray. one good tool i found as my lid would pop up but not totally release is a wood paint stirrer. i would hold the release open, place the paint stirrer against the male latch component and tap the other end. lid popped open after two taps. lots and lots of adjustments to get it right. but now its perfect. thx!
