My mother has Alzheimers. I worked with an attorney over a year ago. I rented out her house, pay for her care (out of her funds) and will protect her assests to be divided between my 4 siblings/self when she passes....... G'luck....

Sounds like what a relative is going through on my wife's side(my bil). Been together with a woman for about 15 years. She uses his money to invest in properties and then sells them and considers the money her own. He is slowly being bled dry but does not have the strength of character to get rid of her. These kind of goings on are common but with uncle being 80 the chances of legal intervention are greater.
