How long have you had this car? It's 42 years old now, and engine swaps could have happened more than once for that car. The numbers don't match, but you really aren't losing any money or value on it. You should treat the car as a car, not an investment. If you don't like that motor, now you can upgrade it without worrying about making the blueboods tut-tut and tsk-tsk.
