Good article: women have never been more unhappy with their lives...since they entered the workforce(and become slaves to consumerism/corporations). Record number of DUI's, overdoses(both alcohol & prescription/illegal drugs), divorces, single

Looking at the state of the highly dysfunctional millennials...collectively we haven't done such a great job as disengaged parents battling our own demons.

I think your premise that women are unhappier is based upon looking at a past through the proverbial rose colored glasses. Of course there were unhappy women in the past. They just weren't allowed to show it. Women were expected to live with infidelity, abuse, neglect and keep quiet about it.
