Been there done that- had a 04 Tahoe. Great car.
This is a known failure point.
There are several online sources that can rebuild it for $100 or so.
I used one- I think but cannot confirm it was
$99 GM Cluster Rebuild
Pulling the cluster is easy. Took about 10 days or so turnaround time including shipping. Drove the car with no issue without the cluster. 10minute job to put it all back together.
In my case, the repair lasted about 2 weeks- then went dead again. They were great- sent me my money back.
Because of other issues I sold the tahoe at that point.
Other options- a new cluster from chevy. I believe it was about $750 + labor.
You can buy rebuilt clusters at any auto parts store. $250-300 I believe. I did not go that route as there can be issues assigning it to your car, mileage transfer, etc.
If I were you I would pull the cluster and try to get it repaired. Most have better luck than I had.
