Thanks for all your help so far. We're making (very) slow progress with it! I have another question if you don't mind... I have a red and black wire hanging freely under the dashboard. It is joined with a connector block and then feeds under the dash. Using the wiring diagram, I have traced it back and believe it connects to the wiper motor, but I can't see where it would connect. Have I got this wrong? If you could confirm if you think I am right and can tell/show me where it connects, that would be fantastic! Many thanks in advance
