I had a k1200. We liked it two up, but yeah, its pretty aggro.
I had an RT. Second those suggestions. Parts is parts, and they're more reliable than the adv rider chatter would lead you to believe.
An FJ or an older Concours is way more comfy than the k bike, but not as shielded as the RT. But excellent suggestions both.
