On my 1970 911,I had the old simple master cylinder that attaches behind the pedal.

I have a complete kit pedal, booster , and master from a newer car (1977) I am thinking of installing it and replace the old system .
The installation will require some cutting behind the dash for the newer unit.

My questions are :

Will there be a significant braking improvement ?
Has anyone made this modification before /Cons and pros.
