I think the main improvement would be not having to stand on the brake anymore. The booster does the work for you. As for decreased stopping distance, I don't know. I would think you would need to upgrade your calipers and rotors. Personally I like the manual brake in my car. It's part of that raw go cart feel and there's more frunk room.
