I just backdated my 83 SC this past winter. It was done as a "bolt-on" backdate just in case I ever want to go back to original (which I doubt).
I used Porsche steel RS rear bumper corners, center panel, a 71 steel long hood, Dansk steel front bumper, and EB Motorsport light boxes. Did all my own work except the paint. With the cost of all the parts, including seals, lenses, etc.., and the cost to paint the new parts, it was about $7,000. Could be done for less with fiberglass parts. Note, I did not change my mirrors or anything in the interior.
