I have the Race as well (half black and half aluminum model) and I love it. It's similar to the stock shift knob in my Audi TT which I love. It's larger than stock, but I have larger hands so it is perfect (the stock knob felt too small). When my friends look at my interior they always comment on how cool it looks. I just blush...
