Valve job complete. New injectors, valves, guides, resurfaced head.
Assembled, added oil.

Removed plugs and DME relay.

Cranked via starter for 3x 15 seconds, no oil pressure.

Removed oil filter. Oil on outside holes, but not center hole.
Put oil in center hole, only took a little, then was full.

Cranked via starter 2x 35 seconds, no oil pressure.

Put in plugs, started. Ran for 1 minute, no pressure and noise from lifters.


Can I assume oil pressure valve stuck at this point? Car didn't run for a year while the head was being repaired.

How do you get at / fix the OPV?

SO CLOSE!! It starts!
