I see it all the time at the Cars and Coffee here. A guy rolls in with a new McLaren P1, then next month he shows up with the P1 all wrapped. I guess what's $6000 in temporary when you have unlimited money. All these super car guys are the same. A white 918 one month is a matte black 918 the next month. Maybe they have an itch to scratch because they can't work on the mechanicals or something. Evidently a P1 or 918 or Hurican isn't exclusive or unique enough.

Regarding the OP's car, I like that better I guess, but it looks weird that this "rust bucket" has nice shiny chrome sugar scoops and all trim work intact. I'd leave the engine lid grille off, for example.
